Team4Tech Fundraiser
Hi all! This summer I have the unique and exiting opportunity to learn/work alongside the Team4Tech non-profit organization as in intern. Team4Tech will be working with their interns and partners remotely to reach underserved students in Malawi, Rwanda, and Kenya by improving and impacting the quality of education in their local communities through technology solutions and training. Interns, such as myself, will be working in collaboration with students from Dartmouth College and Middlebury College to devise and deliver solutions remotely to educational NGOs. The program will involve direct interpersonal interaction with the clients on human-centered curriculum that empowers female students in the area of tech, provides leadership training, provides a love of learning and confidence for students, that they would be equipped to have access to competitive job opportunities and improve their status. I am personally looking forward to this opportunity and want to contribute to making a lasting impact in the lives of these students. For those of you who know me, you might be aware of my interest in seeing those in developing countries have access to resources, such as a quality education, that would allow those in poverty to come out of that cycle. One such solution is providing modern technology to bring these students into the current, competitive global job market. In order to do so, I need to raise $1,400 to cover the program costs, which include training resources for us interns and grants to our non-profit partners. I CANNOT do this without your help, so any contribution you can make to help provide sustainable solutions to help students come out of poverty and be able to see higher education in their future! Thank you so much to those who support this cause in advance!
