My daughter Katelynn Ward has been diagnosed with CRPS/RSD.  CRPS is a progressive disease of the Autonomic Nervous System, and more specifically, the Sympathetic Nervous System. The pain she experiences every day is severe.  She has gone from being an active child who loved softball and playing outside with her friends to being in a wheelchair or in bed.  She loved school. She has been a straight A student all through school but now can hardly go half a day without it causing a flare up and making the pain very severe.  We have found treatment for this disease. There is no cure but there is a possibility of putting it in remission.  I have never been the type of person who asks for help but I am at a point in our lives where I need it.  The treatments alone are $100.00 a piece with her recieving 2-7 treatments a week, this is not covered by insurance.  This does not include physical therapy and the other Dr's she has to see.  I have had to apply for FMLA at work because we are at treatment most of every week, or she needs my care.  This will secure my job thankfully but once my vacation and sick time run out, I will not have a paycheck.
