   Hello, and thanks for visiting. My name is Dave Edwards, I designed the Affordaplane aircraft. I would like to tell you about a friend of mine, a remarkable young pilot named Ethan Coll. Ethan lives in Palatka Florida, and got the flying bug at a very early age. In fact, he flew solo at 16 and got his pilot's license the minute he turned 17.

  After that achievement he knew to have a career in aviation he was going to need to log a lot of hours flying, and that could get very costly. That is when he found the Affordaplane, an inexpensive, simple plans built aircraft. With this airplane he could log as many hours as he wanted, paying only for fuel.

  Plus for many years one of Ethan's biggest dreams has been to take his airplane to the world's largest airshow, EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. To show the airplane he built himself and share it with the world. A bold plan indeed but practical. 

  Ethan laid out a course to follow and spent the next two years totally focused on cutting metal and drilling holes, overcoming obstacles along the way and now Ethan's airplane is nearly finished. A great achievement for anyone, especially as young as Ethan is. In fact, at 19 he is still a teenager! An exceptional teenager, for sure.

  Which brings us to now. Ethan has accomplished a great deal in his life already, but there is much more to come. See, Ethan has his airplane, he just needs some help getting to Oshkosh. That is where we come in. In the true spirit of grass roots aviation, us like minded people can make a difference, we can help him get there. He has already done all the work, he just needs the funds to get there and back. But in true story book fashion, there is more to this story! Not only is Ethan going to take his plane to Oshkosh, but he is going to be followed by a film crew there, and will be featured in an upcoming TV show on a premier network about achievements in aviation!

  Not only will Ethan accomplish his dream, but he will be sharing it with the world, to promote grass roots aviation at its finest. To show our younger generation it IS possible to achieve your dreams in aviation. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for this young man, and will be recorded for all time for everyone to see and be inspired by.

Ethan is going places in aviation, the sky is the only limit. And he will share his journey with everyone.
