TFA-SFV04 Fl Presidents Cup
We are the San Fernando Valley 2004 Boys team for Total Futbol Academy. We won the Cal South Presidents State Cup in February, which qualified us to advance to the US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup for Region IV (Far West).
On June 18, we won the US Youth Soccer Region IV Presidents Cup which now qualifies us to play in the National Presidents Cup in Florida July 12-16. We only have a couple of weeks to be able to fund the travel for our 20 boys who will be traveling there.
Between February and June we raised over $10K to fund the trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. Cal South gave us an additional $6K. This helped to cover hotel and meal expenses. This was not enough so the rest came from the families' pockets and was difficult on the families.
We anticipate that the trip to Florida to represent the western region, Southern California and Los Angeles will cost at least $40K. Cal South is kindly giving us $10K, so we need to raise another $30k.
