As we prepare to gather around our tables this Thanksgiving, let's take a moment to remember the families who may not be as fortunate. For some, putting food on the table is a daily struggle, and no family should have to go without a warm meal during the holidays.

It's in moments like these that the importance of kindness and community becomes even more meaningful. Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can mean the most. A little generosity, a shared blessing, or simply reminding someone that they are not forgotten can make a difference greater than we realize.

My hope is that we can come together, not out of obligation, but out of compassion and a genuine desire to help one another. After all, we are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others. May we never become so consumed by our own blessings that we forget those who are still praying for theirs.

"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."

Al prepararnos para reunirnos alrededor de nuestras mesas este Día de Acción de Gracias, tomemos un momento para recordar a las familias que quizás no tengan las mismas bendiciones. Para algunas, poner comida sobre la mesa es una lucha diaria, y ninguna familia debería tener que pasar estas fiestas sin una comida caliente.

Es precisamente en momentos como estos cuando la importancia de la bondad y la unión comunitaria cobra aún más significado. A veces, los actos de bondad más pequeños pueden significar muchísimo. Un poco de generosidad, una bendición compartida o simplemente recordarle a alguien que no ha sido olvidado puede marcar una diferencia mucho más grande de lo que imaginamos.

Mi deseo es que podamos unirnos, no por obligación, sino por compasión y por un deseo genuino de ayudarnos unos a otros. Después de todo, Dios nos bendice para que también podamos ser de bendición para los demás. Que nunca estemos tan concentrados en nuestras propias bendiciones que olvidemos a quienes todavía están orando por las suyas.
