When she finally found the courage to leave a domestic violence abuser, she walked away with her safety—but she lost almost everything else. Since then, she’s been fighting to rebuild her life from the ground up, and the road has been brutal.

Right now, Abigail is living in extremely unstable conditions. She’s been forced into couch-to-couch survival, staying wherever she can find a safe place for the night. She has no transportation, which affects every part of her life—medical care, work, basic independence, the ability to stay afloat. On top of that, she’s juggling major health challenges and the financial fallout of years spent trying to escape, recover, and restart.

This is the part where a community steps in.

We are launching The Abigail Effect to give her the chance to reclaim stability and safety. Every contribution will go directly toward securing reliable housing, access to transportation, essential medical needs, and the resources required to rebuild a life that was dismantled by violence and circumstance.
