I love the Kurdish People with all my heart. I want to help them as much as I can, and I do that by making videos to raise awareness, but I want to do more. On a college student budget, however, I can’t do as much as I’d like, I can’t travel back and forth to Kurdistan very much. That’s why I’m raising money for this special opportunity. I plan on taking a small team (me and 3 others) to Kurdistan to help provide food, clothing, diapers, and other essential supplies to the displaced and needy families from Rojava and Rojhalat. The majority of the money we raise will be used as we partner with various charity organizations in Kurdistan to purchase more supplies (it will also cover our flights and some other travel expenses). But not only will we be providing some financial aid, we plan on documenting every step of the way, from buying the supplies, to packaging them, to bringing them to the people. We want to get to know some of these folks and hear their stories & share them with the world. This will hopefully raise awareness in the US and Europe, and inspire people to want to help as much as they can. We will be making many videos in both Kurdish & English as we do as much as we can.
