The Feud

My Name is Dennis DelleFave. I am a retired Radio South Florida Talk show host, entertainer  and former Road Manager to singer Jimmy Roselli and Historian. I was fortunate to see and hear first hand accounts of the relationship Between Frank Sinatra and Jimmy Roselli, for which this play is about. I have extensive experience in booking shows as the PR Director of the Former Boca Pops Orchestra of Boca Raton, Fl.

I am looking for investors for my Theatrical play called "the Feud." Which I wrote. It is a story about 2 singers from Hoboken, N.J. Frank Sinatra and Jimmy Roselli, who Had over a 30 year musical and personal feud that saw Sinatra reach world wide stardom while the other languished in his shadow. And yet Roselli became the popular italian American singer of his generation, introducing Neapolitan music to America. Before Pavorotti, Before Bocelli, there was Roselli. The Guardian will be at the door of Purgatory, and has each entertainer discuss their life's ups and downs while they sing the music that made them popular.. It contains stories of the Mobsters and their hold on the entertainment business during the 50's and 60's, touching on how Sinatra cooperated with the Wise Guys, while Roselli, at the risk of his life, kept them at arm's length. I feel with the success of Jersey Boys and the now upcoming, The Wanderer,  Dion Demucci, this story has appeal.  Most everybody wants to hear about Mob guys as witnessed by all the movies and successful TV shows.

The money will be spent on self producing the performances. The initial expenses will be the following:

$5,000 for rehearsals, which include auditions, rehearsals and travel expenses for cast and Director.

$10,000 for advertising and publicity for initial performances. This cost is amortized over the amount of consecutive performances.

$5,000 each performance for cast, Musician and Light and Sound Engineer.

Plus travel and entertainment expenses. After initial Audition and rehearsal costs, each ongoing performances will be estimated at $13,500. 300 sold seats will be a break even point.

The plan is to book 4 consecutive nights per each theater with an average seating capacity of 600 to 800 seats. Average ticket price will be scaled from $35, $45 and $55. at $45 average 225 sold tickets is the break even point. That's why I am asking for $45,000 in order to keep the production going. The eventuality is to go off Broadway and tour the show.

Eventually, based on success we can add more musicians to add to the dynamics. The staging is simple and saves a lot of money. Basically it's a dark background and usage of lighting techniques.

I am looking for 20 investors at $2500 apiece. Each investor will have (1) point of the profits for their investment for the course of 2 years with the option of a buyback @6% interest at the end of that period.

The initial investment  payback, based on ticket sales, should be 20 to 30 performances based on ticket sales. performances.

All future expenses will be paid out of tickets sales.
