A Mobile Home Today. A Women's Sanctuary Tomorrow.

I am tired of the survival life and many women are in my position. Choices aren’t always good choices without viable information available. What I mean by that is..if I would have known what I know now about this world when I was younger, lots of things would be different.

I know that for many women, leaving isn't simply a matter of walking away. Sometimes the most dangerous part is having nowhere safe to go and no help to get there.

My dream is bigger than owning a camper van. I want to create a place where women escaping abuse, instability, homelessness, financial hardship, or other difficult life circumstances can find safety, temporary housing, peace, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives. I did have friends that helped me out of a terrible situation when I needed it most and I also want to be that help for someone else.

But every dream has a first step and that is me creating a Mobile Sanctuary. A Camper van that I will live in and have the freedom to travel anywhere that a woman needs a hand in getting out of whatever bad situation she is in.

One day, I hope to acquire land and build a women-centered sanctuary where women can find temporary housing, emotional support, practical resources, creative opportunities, wellness programs, and the time they need to begin again with dignity.

I am raising funds to purchase and prepare a dependable camper van that will serve as my mobile home, creative workspace, wellness space, and business headquarters while I work toward the larger vision. Instead of waiting until everything is perfect, I want to begin building with what is possible today.

Why I'm Asking

I want to create stability for myself while building something that can eventually become much larger than me. I want to do this as soon as possible and I think it can be done. I have seen so many young women and women with children that are going through so many awful things and I always look at the situations and wish that I could do something for them right away.

I believe every woman deserves safety, options, and a chance to begin again and this comes from someone, anyone who can help. Even if just a little. This camper van is where I hope that help begins.
