We already know the heights Super Star Taylor Swift has reached with her remarkable music career. On February 4, 2024 Taylor won her unprecedented fourth album of the year award at the Grammys. The question now is - who is next? Like Taylor and Victoria Monet, there are thousands of young female singers who aspire to become the next star

in the music industry. Back In 'Da Day Music, a fledgling record label wants to help with answering this question. The Founder of the label is also a songwriter and has written a 12-song album for a female Pop artist. Not only will your donation help with studio costs and production toward the album, but it will also help with our talent search for who will be selected to be featured on the album when released in 2025.

A sample of the style of music featured on the album can be heard on the video for this fundraiser - "The Siri Song". If Back In ' Da Day Music reaches its goal for this fundraiser, production of the album will begin immediately and completed within the next eight months. Our newly selected artist will be chosen in the fall and the debut album will be released in the Spring or Summer of 2025.

  Record label executive Steve Butler is hoping his present crowfunding campaign will raise enough capital to launch the career of the world's next female Pop music star.

   "It's realistic, possible and could happen", Said Butler, The Founder of Back In 'Da Day Music, a fledgling label that will feature Pop music as one of its genres. 

"There's a lot of work involved with conducting a successful crowdfunder, or in reaching your monetary goal", he said. It takes a lot of people to just pitch in and get the word out, let alone to contribute." There's a lot of luck involved in finding that next big artist as well, Butler acknowleged.

  "First you have to strike a chord with your target market. You have to give them a reason to care and get behind your campaign". Butler's vision with his crowdfunder and label is to find an outstanding, young female artist and give her a chance to shine with a spectacular 12-song album. 

  "I firmly believe this album is going to be a once in a generation album. The songs were written over a long period - they just weren't thrown together for this project", Butler stated. "There are some really, really good songs on this album".   

  Butler and his label had an outstanding vocalist, Kimmera Morrell scheduled for the project, (hear the "Siri Song" on the crowdfunder's video) but she had to bow out due to contractual agreements with another label. "Henceforth our need to find a replacement female artist for the project and album". Butler says his crowdfunder will need to raise a minimum of $30,000 to pay for studio and other recording costs associated with the album.  

  "Our label is going on a world-wide search to find the next female Pop star. We need to come to a decision on who the winner of our contest and search will be by August of 2024 so the album can be released and promoted in the Spring of 2025", Butler says.

The more eyes we can get on the crowdfunder the better our chances of reaching our goal."
