As you may be aware, this year I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education at Stevenson University. I am pleased to say that I will begin my career as an educator at Mars Estates Elementary School, located in Baltimore County, in the fall! Mars Estates is dedicated to creating a culture for students that promotes "safety, security, and and positivity." They are devoted to educating the whole child so they are prepared not only academically, but emotionally, upon navigating educational goals.

Following through with this mission, as a new teacher, I am now tasked with developing a classroom that will meet the needs of my students. I am excited to be able to provide my students with a learning environment they deserve. From the classroom library with characters that promote diversity, to the proper resources and tools they need to be successful, my goal is to create an environment where my students feel excited and comfortable to enter the classroom every day!

Please consider supporting my students next year by contributing to their classroom! Students deserve a place that feels made for their personal success, help me provide that for them!

Thank you in advance,

Jocelyn Richards
