Hi there! I’m a single mom of two beautiful domestic short hair boys who have been such a blessing to me. I’ve been an RN for years, including pre-, intra- and post pandemic. These babies helped me through that time. Now I owe it to them to help through theirs, as they have saved me in the past!

Theo, 9.5 years, is my travel warrior and has been with me all over the country. Truly my companion and friend during all of the hardest points in my life. In February of 2025, he got a urinary block and due to my own ignorance, I had NO idea that this was a condition nor how serious it was for male cats. We were able to get him excellent care here in Los Angeles, but 1 year later we are still paying off the vet bills.

Having learned my lesson previously, I immediately got pet insurance… and later on adopted a new cat! I settled down from travel nursing and began to grow my roots here in California with just the three of us. Now in February 2026, Mo is experiencing the same condition at just 1.5 years old. I’m still climbing out of the debt from Theo‘s visits and although I’m grateful to now have insurance, the bills are still piling and I’m just seeking a little extra help and relief during this time.
