In May, Teresa was diagnosed with a form of cancer that began in the skin called basal cell carcinoma. She then started treatment of chemo, three days a week for a period of three months. At her six week appointment, her Dr. decided to discontinue use and start a different treatment based on the extreme side effects. 

This fundraiser is to help with the out of pocket expenses that this unfortunate illness has caused. Although, she has continued working, she had to miss several days due to a viral infection and was forced to use up all of her vacation. 

She has had random bleeds from the side of her nose. 

Crying has made her pain worse and she can't go outside because sweat burns the affected area. The pain and suffering has been almost unbearable.
