Tim & Ann's Transplants

Update - 6/8/2023
To all of you who are following Tim and Ann's journey – they want to give you an update.
Tim is now on the list to receive a donor when one becomes available. There is no set day and time, it is a “wait to hear” kind of situation. Until that time, he regularly goes through paracentesis, a very uncomfortable process to remove fluid build up in his abdominal cavity that relieves pressure. We are hoping that he will get word of a donor at any time.
Ann is now scheduled to be admitted to OSU on June 21st and will undergo radiation and chemo until her bone morrow transplant which is scheduled for the 28th. Their son, Beaux is planning to be her donor. Following the transplant Ann will remain in hospital for a month followed by a long 100 day recovery.
At this point they have very little to no actual employment income as Tim is no longer working and Ann is doing what she can between medical appointments when she has the energy. Their insurance coverage will end completely at the end of July, the same month their fiscal year restarts so they will have their entire deductible to meet in one month's time.
This is a long process and they have tremendous gratitude for the outpouring of love and care shown to them by friends and family.
If you have been waiting to contribute to this fundraiser, now would be a perfect opportunity. Your donation now will help carry them through this next phase when finances should be at the bottom of the list to worry about.
And if you have already contributed, whether financially, with prayers & thoughts or actions, please know this is what is carrying them through this journey and they are eternally grateful.

ANN Baldwin - to know her is to love her. She is sunshine in human form, radiating love and warmth to all around her with a smile that never fails.
Ann has already proven a warrior against cancer and kicked it to the curb a few years ago. In January, severe pain forced her to the ER and after much poking and prodding she was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia which is likely caused from the treatment from her previous cancer.
When asked if she was ready for another battle, she didn't hesitate before she answered “yes!” She is armed with a strong faith and determination and ready to fight and win again.
This time is a bit different, though, as her husband, TIM has his own ongoing battle. It was discovered that Tim's liver is failing and soon will no longer function.
With each of these battles, BOTH ANN & TIM REQUIRE TRANSPLANTS.
Ann – Bone Marrow and Tim – Liver. They are taking the steps with chemo, drug trials, bloodwork, procedures, etc., to prepare but to add to that the financial burden has been great. Ann is self employed and has been covered under Tim's insurance but that will soon expire as Tim is no longer able to work. And bills have become overwhelming.
Friends and family have been so kind and generous with food for when they feel up to eating; rides to and from the hospital for procedures and care as well as love and support. Now they will need a little help from friends to aid with the bills for treatment.
Ten dollars, fifty dollars... any amount is so appreciated. Ann & Tim have poured love into the lives of the people around them so let's take this opportunity to give to them. Please give what you feel called to and share this posting. Thank you for your support of Ann & Tim through this.
