In April of 2017, the Sutliff family (Tim, Sharon, and their four boys) received devastating news.....Tim was diagnosed with Diastolic Congestive Heart Failure. Along with this diagnosis Tim was ordered to cease working and was told "You need to get your affairs in order".

Fortunately, by following the Dr's orders and the right medications Tim and his family began seeing improvements to his health. The Dr's have been happy to see his lung and kidney function returning to healthy levels, as well as great improvements to blood pressure levels. However, every time Tim has tried returning to work, the improvements have quickly disappeared. According to the Dr's, Tim heart has to "De-Stress" to the point of actually seeing the scarring and over-muscled areas of his heart (Diastolic) return to healthy parameters. So.......the "No Work" order remains in place for obvious reasons.

The Sutliff family has had to apply for "assistance" from varying agencies, and have been told "it could take a couple years before help is available." In the meantime, with no income, the bills keep coming in. This fund is to assist with all the bills (Mortgage, utilities, car repairs, etc.) that continue to arise.

Although Tim, Sharon, and their family have contributed to many charitable benefits in their community. When it comes to asking for assistance themselves....Tim says...."It feels awkward. It's very humbling to be in a position that you can't provide for your family." With that in mind, however, financial stress is a real and present danger when it comes to Tim's heart.
