TLCA Annual PAWZAPALOOZA
Thomas L. Cardella & Associates-Keokuk is hosting its first annual PAWZAPALOOZA to help raise money for Fort Madison Protectors of Animal Welfare (P.A.W.) Animal Shelter, Keokuk Animal Services, and the Keokuk Humane Society. Thomas L. Cardella Associates will be hosting many community-wide events throughout the month of October as well as collecting donations for the animal shelters. All gifts are very much appreciated and will help cover many medical expenses as well as the day-to-day financial needs it take to operate.
Fort Madison Protectors of Animal Welfare (P.A.W) Animal Shelter is a 501c3, non-profit No Kill Animal Shelter. It began in 1997 by a small group od concerned citizens who saw a need and took action to fill that need. They have since grown into a facility that cares for almost 200 animals daily.
Keokuk Animal Shelter is the sheltering facility for the lost and homeless animals of the City of Keokuk. Services provided include Animal Control, sheltering and reuniting of lost animals with their owners, adoption services, care of lost and found animals, and the purchase/renewal of City License tags for dogs and cats.
The Keokuk Humane Society is a volunteer run shelter. They are a no-kill shelter that takes in surrenders and strays and helps the local pound as room permits. They currently have a limited amount of space for cats and their dog runs are always full of wonderful pets looking for a home and family to call their own.
