Help Me Take My Book to FIL Guadalajara 2025 ✈️

I’ve been invited to present my book at Latin America’s biggest book fair, the FIL Guadalajara 2025.

I’m an independent author from Calgary, Canada, raising $1000 CAD to make this journey possible.

Sometimes, dreams take years to find their wings.

Mine began with words, written in notebooks during sleepless nights, in airports between flights, and in quiet moments when healing felt impossible.

This December, that dream is taking me to the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL 2025), one of the largest literary events in Latin America, where I’ve been invited to present my books.

For an independent author like me, this isn’t just an event; it’s a milestone that represents resilience, courage, and the power of stories that refuse to stay silent.

I’ve self-funded every step so far: the writing, design, editing, and printing. Now, I need a little help to cross the final bridge: getting to Guadalajara.

A veces, los sueños tardan años en encontrar sus alas.

El mío comenzó con palabras, escritas en libretas durante noches sin sueño, en aeropuertos entre vuelos y en esos silencios donde sanar parecía imposible.

Este diciembre, ese sueño me llevará a la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara (FIL 2025), uno de los eventos literarios más grandes de América Latina, donde he sido invitada a presentar mis libros.

Para una autora independiente como yo, esto no es solo un evento; es una meta que representa resiliencia, coraje y el poder de las historias que se niegan a ser silenciadas.

Hasta ahora, he financiado todo por mi cuenta: la escritura, el diseño, la edición y la impresión. Ahora solo necesito un pequeño impulso para cruzar el último puente: llegar a Guadalajara.
