Please let me start with, R.I.P. "AMY ELIZABETH PITRE VASQUE Okay Google Z." We know you fought trying to see this finished. (Cancer) I'm not sure how or what I need to do or start for that matter. Many prob. Would say only, WOW. Billy and I have been together since 2017 but have known each other for many yrs. We have been renting and are tired of paying for other people's things. We talked about a floating home. but, In reality the blocks were way to pricey. Until hurricane IDA hit in 2021. While driving around accessing the damage Ida had done we came across a large styrofoam block it was put by road for garbage, we picked it up. While continuing to drive around we started finding large close called blocks everywhere. We continued to collect as many as we could. At the end we had collected 40 to 60 large styrofoam blocks. Our dream started to become a reality. We took this as a sign. We had found a piece of property to start building the platform for our floating home, the lady whom owed it said it was OK. Then out the blue, 3 days before our platform was to be launched and in the water afloat, we were stopped by SWAT, Guns deawn in our faces, handcuffed, ready to be taken to jail. My New baby puppy, I had just gotten crying, freaking out. Being told we were criminally trust passing. Thank God, I had enough proof to prove that the lady was lying about us being on her property. As the cops were taking cuffs off of us, they told us, that she freaked after seeing the size of the platform and wanted to back out, and how she was very rich, with a lot of pull and if I wouldn't have had all the proof that I did have that we would have went to jail. She gave us 2 days to have everything removed from her property. I had to pay people with the rest of the loan money I had gotten to make sure we were completely off her property in the 2 days given. Plus they made up clean things that had been there 20 to 30 years prior to us. The nasty things we cleaned. There are NO words for. We finally found another place that had said we could build a launched at. Come to find out after we moved all of our stuff to storage buildings (I have 5 units total.) We had built a greenhouse type storage on side of bridge thinking we wouldn't be here but a couple of months. Maybe 3 at most. Well, that was a year ago. Little did we know, the people who said we could do all these things, aren't even the owners. The storm took there houseboat and put it on land stranding them here. After moving in this shack as I call it. Those stranded people started stealing from us we gave them gas, money, even a 3500.watt generator. They sold it. Then stole ours. Then we flooded. That took most of my clothes, and all of my husband's clothes. Trying to replace things and build this with No More Money. Now my husband has hernia a big baseball at the lower part of stomach by private area. Making things even harder to get done. Now owners are asking us to hurry up and leave. We have no one that can help us. We can't afford to pay anyone to help us nor do we have any place to go. Those people robbed us so bad then lied having my husband in jail along side of those people for stolen things we didn't even know were stolen. Now that the guy had died. We are being told to leave. We have no place to go we can't afford rent cause he is barely working due to health problems and lack of work. I use all my monthly income on 5 storages. Units, 6 cards, car note,insurance,loan,Drs.,personal items,household products,and animal's needs.We literally are at a loss at what to do. This literally is our last resort being we are not one's whom ask for anything. We are usually the ones helping others. But,, we need help to finish this. I never thought that it would come to us begging for anything. I'm use to doing for everyone. I took care of my brother whom was a paraplegic and grandmaw/mom (adopted) whom had a stroke (together at same time) was hard but this. NOW WE NEED YOU TO KNOW WE ARE NOT USING AMY TO PULL HEART STRINGS, WE ARE ONLY LETTING YOU KNOW HOW AND WHAT WE ARE DOING WITH YOU HELP YOU HAVE PROVIDED.. SO,, please! DONATED to finish what we started AS WE dedicate the Name Of Our Home after my finances sister whom recently passed Feb.12,2024 To keep her memory Alive we have decided to either name it after her or put it in part of it.. We haven't decided but Amy or her middle name Elizabeth will be in it or it's name altogether. In dedication of Amy. She will always live on forever never forgotten with love through us and those who have helped.
