On October 21st, 2020 around 10:01 Brianna and Edelin Whitehall welcomed their sweet baby girl Elliana JoAnn Whitehall in their home. Elliana weighed approximately 1lb 5oz.

Brianna had been experiencing mild cramping, which soon led to the premature birth of Ellie at only 24 weeks gestation. Elliana is a true fighter and came into this world alive and strong. After being born, both Brianna and Elliana were transferred by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Shortly after, Ellie was flown to Norton Children's Hospital for further neonatal care. Brianna has since been released and is doing well.

While Elliana is already a miracle, we ask for many prayers as she will have to overcome plenty of obstacles in the near future.

As a family, we believe so strongly in the power of prayer. It is the most powerful weapon and the most effective medicine. If you are wondering what you can do, prayer is the most valuable gift you can give. Pray for our sweet baby girl, the medical staff taking care of her, and for her parents and family.

As you can imagine, this was by no mean expected and it was quite the traumatic experience for Brianna, Edelin, and everyone involved.

The first days of Ellie's life are the most crucial, so we ask that you come together in agreement that this is God's divine plan and that his will be done.

In efforts to help with finances, we have created this fundraiser to alleviate some costs of medical bills, food, travel, and all of the other unexpected costs that may arise.
