Tony Gentry, a dear friend and talented artist who is featured in all four of our Queer Prisoners Comix Anthologies, just had some devastating news: he has brain cancer that has spread throughout his body, leaving him in terrible pain. This pain is nearly constant, and Tony currently has no funds to purchase food and hygiene items from commissary. He is also nearly out of money needed to contact us and update us about his situation; we sent him a donation last week, but it is simply not enough to sustain him in any meaningful way.

Tony has this to say about his situation: 

"I have some really bad news myself( I HAVE CANCER) [...] it come at A time when i dont have (No family) ( No support system ) or income to its at the stage now im in alot of pain its brian cancer! [...] my skin drying up the foods i eat make me sick its No good coming from this [...] Real talk im just seating around wait to pass away this my reality suffer with No support is much more harder!"

"No family support im all along dying slowly in pain suffering every nite...i dont have no money on my phone card so i cant call or shop for hyigenes to take care of my body i run out of everything"

We want to show Tony that he has support from a whole community of amazing people on the outside who want to ease his daily pain. The more people who donate and share this fundraiser, the better hope Tony has for battling his brain cancer in some degree of comfort.
