David Higgins
TPHS Eagle Scout Project
Hello
My name is Narasinga Ujjini, and I am a passionate sophomore wrestler at Torrey Pines High School. As a dedicated Boy Scout, I am working towards the Eagle Scout rank, and a crucial part of this journey is a service project that benefits my community.
For my Eagle Project, I am constructing cubbies and a bench in the wrestling room at TPHS. This much-needed addition will provide our wrestlers with a designated space to store their shoes and bags, freeing up valuable floor space for more equipment and exercise. It will also offer a comfortable area for injured wrestlers to rest and support their teammates. Models of the project are showcased below.
The wrestling room at TPHS has long been in need of this practical and inviting upgrade. By contributing to my project, you can help create an environment that fosters team spirit, camaraderie, and the continued success of our wrestling program.
I am reaching out to you to ask for your support in funding this important project. The budget for the materials (such as wood, wood glue, and screws) is $1,100.
The workers for the project will be volunteers, such as my fellow scouts and wrestling teammates. There will be no cost for labor.
As a token of our gratitude, donors who contribute $200 or more will be commemorated on a special dedication plaque displayed in the wrestling room. Additionally, all donors will be recognized on the TPHS Wrestling website, showcasing your commitment to our student-athletes.
Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a lasting impact on our wrestling team and the broader TPHS community. Together, we can create a space that inspires our wrestlers to reach new heights and solidify the legacy of our school's athletic program.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you and working together to make this project a resounding success. Any amount helps!
Sincerely,
Narasinga Ujjini, student athlete at TPHS
