Tragic hit n run

Witnesses said two vehicles traveling at high speeds ran a red light near the intersection. One vehicle struck the woman while she was walking near the outside lane of the roadway.

The impact pushed her onto an inside lane, where she was reportedly struck by the second vehicle. Both drivers continued speeding away and never stopped to check on the injured woman.

Police are searching for two hit-and-run drivers who struck and killed a woman who was walking near Alabama Street and Industrial Park Drive in Redlands on Sept. 17, 2025. (Google Maps)

Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim “unresponsive, with major injuries and no pulse.” Paramedics transported her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

She was only identified as a 38-year-old woman. No further details, including a description of the suspects or their vehicles, were provided by police.

“Evidence was recovered at the scene and the investigation is ongoing,” authorities said.

On the evening of Wednesday, September 17, 2025, our dear Stephanie Rose Allen was tragically killed in a senseless hit-and-run accident while walking across the street in Redlands, Ca.

Stephanie Allen was a loving mother daughter sister and friend who brought so much light and joy to our lives. Her loss is devastating and has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her. The fact one of the drivers who took her life is still at large only amplifies the pain and injustice of this tragedy.

Why We Need Your Support

Stephanie Rose Allen has left behind her 2 children, and also her mother who lives out of state and is on a fixed income. Her mother is now faced with the impossible task of grieving her child while simultaneously dealing with the sudden, unexpected financial burden of laying her to rest.

She simply cannot afford the necessary expenses to cover the burial and other final arrangements.

We are reaching out to our community, friends, and anyone moved by this tragedy to raise a minimum of $5000. This amount will go to ensure she can afford a proper and dignified burial and cover any final cost for her family and children.

How You Can Help

Donate: Please consider making a contribution. No amount is too small, and every dollar brings us closer to our goal and offers a measure of relief to her grieving mother.

Thank you and god bless!
