As part of Queeramics community outreach, we want to start a ceramics scholarship for transgender BIPOC interested in clay. The goal is for this scholarship to be available to any one transgender BIPOC in the United States that applies to each fall and/or spring semester. The scholarship can be used for a beginning or intermediate fine art or craft based ceramics class at a community college, university, or art center. The field of fine art and craft ceramics in the United States needs more representation from transgender BIPOC. We want to uplift, support, and aid trans BIPOC individuals who apply that need the financial assistance to create with clay, or simply want to discover clay! We are reaching out to everyone in the ceramics community to help by any donation you can afford to begin the foundations of this scholarship so that Queeramics can begin providing this service to the queer BIPOC ceramics community.
