I have raised $1250, so my new goal is $1500. The extra $250 will be used for gift cards for teenagers in foster care so this gives teens the opportunity to purchase their own clothes that are for their individual style. Remember being a teen and wanting to pick your own outfit? We can give them this experience!

** NEWEST UPDATE**

I reached $1000, so I am going for $1250. This will purchase playground equipment for Kid Kottage.

A little about Kids Kottage- “The Kids Kottage Shelter provides temporary care for Washoe County's abused and neglected children until they can safely be returned to their families or placed in a foster home. At Kids Kottage children are given medical, mental health, and educational evaluations and support to ensure their needs are met.”

Because I reached my goal of $1000, I will be doing a second gift card giveaway. If I reach $1250, I will do a third giveaway! Thank you for all your help in a cause that means so much to me!

We have reached our goal of $500! I'm setting a new goal of $1000. That will get us 20 backpacks for teenagers in foster care. Education is so important!

We are raising money once again for transition duffel bags for teenagers in foster care. These duffel bags filled with comfort items and essentials items are used to help ease the transition for teens who are entering a new foster home. The bags also help foster parents focus solely on the teen in their home in those first important hours and days instead of rushing out to the store.

For $25 a teenager will receive:

• Duffel Bag

• Shampoo

• Conditioner

• Toothbrush

• Toothpaste

• Deodorant

• Body Wash

• Loofah

• Socks

• $10 Gift Card

We always add a $10 gift card to somewhere fun, because more often than not these teens aren't choosing their own items, or don't have the luxury of picking something out just for theirselves.
