I am a single mother of 3 just doing her absolute best!! With lack of much physical help from family or friends, I would say that my healthy, happy children are proof that I am doing good at my job. However my heart is with the elderly and I'm ready to get back into my work!! My two youngest are currently enrolled in year-round daycare. And Austin starts pre-k next month! Naturally my youngest are at risk of being dropped due to poo attendance from not having transportation. The van I bought and fixed up with my entire income tax check this year left my kids and I stranded 3 weeks ago with a blown head gasket. Therefore making the van valued at less than 250$. While the kids are in school I'll be able to return to work and already have a job lined up with the most perfect hours. We are asking for donations to purchase a car to get us from point A to point B so we can maintain our routine that I have spent nearly 4 years trying to perfect. Since being enrolled in head start all 3 of the kids have flourished immensely. And my mental health has not been unmanageable whatsoever.
