Hello wonderful people, I am seeking funds to cover travel expenses. That would be airline and 2 nights of a hotel to attend my niece's wedding. This will be for my son and myself. The bride is my oldest niece. We are very close. There is no way that I would want to miss this wedding. I'm fully employed, but I'm just living check to check. I had been through a time period recently where the Department of Homeland Security was shut down and I am a government employee with TSA. Our paychecks were withheld for almost two months and I floated by on my tax refund, which I had planned to set aside for the wedding travel expenses. I don't have a credit card. I don't like to do things on credit. I only operate with whatever monies I have. I thought this may be kind of a last resort to see what I can come up with through the kindness and generosity of wonderful people. The wedding is coming up soon. It's the middle of July. We have to fly out-of-state which is why there are airline tickets involved. My family member who lives near the destination is already hosting other guests who are coming in from another country.
