Granny (Lucy) was never a huge fan of flowers at funerals. She always loved to give to others. To honor her, we are asking for you to make a donation to Trinity Lutheran School. This is the school that two of her great grand-boys attend.

Story behind the donation: Trinity School building is over 100 years old. It's a beautiful building with lots of steps. Imagine granny trying to go to the classroom with her walker. It proved very difficult. Two years ago, the school began a campaign to raise money to make their school more accessible with an elevator. Andrew (one of her great grand-boys) came up with an all school art show fundraiser. He really wanted the elevator so that his "granny could come visit anytime." The entire school took on the fundraiser and hosted an Art Show for the past two years raising thousands of dollars. She loved attending the art show and purchasing things that the students created. The school began installing the elevator this year. Granny would be so excited. She was so very proud of all her grand kids. Now, the school needs to fix the playground. She loved sitting and watching all the kids play together.  

To honor her memory and legacy, we are asking for you to make a donation to Trinity Lutheran School in Monroe, MI. All the money will be used to help with classroom education and the playground in Granny's honor. She would be so proud to see donations go there.
