Trusting God in the storm

I I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, especially at this stage in my life. But right now, my family is going through one of the hardest seasons we’ve ever faced.

I am a hospice nurse, and caring for others during their most vulnerable moments has always been my calling. Recently, due to low census, I was laid off. Prior to that, my wages had already been reduced, which put us under serious financial strain. I do work PRN, but it has not been enough to cover our bills and basic needs.

I did everything I could to stay afloat and push through. But with the loss of steady income, it has felt like I’ve been walking through a wilderness, uncertain, overwhelmed, and trying to hold on. Even in this, I know God is good, and I’m trusting Him to make a way.

Right now, we are facing eviction and urgently need help. We are trying to cover past due, current, and future rent, along with late fees, court costs, and utilities. I am actively searching for stable employment, but we need immediate support to keep a roof over our heads and make it through this difficult transition.

This is more than just bills, this is our home, our stability, and our sense of peace. Losing it would be devastating for my family.

If you are able to give, no matter how small, it would truly be a blessing to us. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing our story or keeping us in your prayers means more than you know. Every act of kindness brings us one step closer to hope.

When I am able to get back on my feet, I fully intend to pay it forward and be a blessing to someone else in need, just as I am humbly asking for help today.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story and for any support during this incredibly difficult time. God bless you.
