VOLUNTEERING AS a Driver for "MEALS ON WHEELS"

I am NOT a A Charity Case or Someone with a Sense of Entitlement or a DEAD BEAT or a VICTIM, I JUST CANNOT Save Up The REST of The Needed MONEY On my OWN with my Disability SSI & Part Time Work Income. THIS IS Something Bigger Than I Can Get done Alone.

  I GIVE FREE RIDES & I have For Years to any I Need. That is Until My Car Motor through a rod at only 91,000 Miles.

TO HELP ME..HELP OTHERS, BY GETTING MY CAR BACK ON THE ROAD. I HAVE SAVED OVER $1000 To Buy another Motor and Pay for the Labor, But the Ful COST is Closer to $1500 And I am Against a TIMELIME if I am GOING to GET THIS MOTOR and Labor.

My Name Is Terry Ponder from Springfield MISSOURI and I am a 60 Year old that was disabled after an Open Heart surgery left my Sternum Permanently Fractured in 2010. Although Permanently Disabled from doing many things, I still love to Help Others. Giving with NO EXPECTATIONS is one of the Best Rewards in this world.

 This IS ABOUT being able to PROVIDE Free Rides & Services for SEVERAL ORGINAZITIONS, and Many Friends, or strangers. 

Those that are Disabled/or People In Need.   ANYONE. Yes Any in Need! I Benefit from having my car running again, but so Will Many Others. . And I Benefit EVEN MORE by Being able To Help Others as I have done for Several years. That is One of The Greatest JOYS IN LIFE TO ME!!

 And NOT EXPECTING ANYTHING in return.

MEET the REAL-LIFE Seniors Clients I work with, Senior Clients of Meals on Wheels. "Statistically";  "There has never been a more critical time to get involved. 10 MILLION  seniors in America face the threat of hunger daily.

1 IN 4 Seniors lives alone in isolation. THESE PEOPLE are Right here in Springfield, Meet the real-life senior clients of Meals on Wheels--And I SERVE THEM.

     For the last 4 Years I have Provided FREE RIDES TO ANY IN NEED.  When the Police Totaled My last Car, I went 2 years waiting on a Payment. During that Time I Walked or bicycled everywhere, often biking and bus Riding.

ANY amount is Deeply, I just really look forward to being able to help SOME Friends that are taking Chemo Now. Yes I want my car...but that will happen. But the need is more urgent Now for other reasons,

 I just need a few Hundred now after saving my pay for the last 6 Months.
 

     Any Amount Will Help. This is Money to Replace the MOTOR in a Car That was & will Be Used to Help Any IN NEED.    I Provide FREE RIDES TO ANY IN NEED;  The Elderly, Those taking Dialysis, Cancer Treatments, or just Shopping Trips, Church, Beauty Salons ,  

Can You NOT Spare $3 or $4 OF Spare Change .....  To Help Others   

This FUND is for Money to raise the last Few Hundred Dollars to Pay the Mechanic and To pay For The Motor.  

I have Saved over $1000 MYSELF---I am Against a DEADLINE To Get the motor being held for me and the labor is being deeply discounted.   

AGAIN...UNLIKE MOST.....  IF YOU HELP ME..YOU are Helping Dozens of Others. This Car Was & Will Still Be Used For People Like This. 

 I am Here to Serve Others. And That is My Job. TO BE USED TO SERVE OTHERS!!

SANDY HOOK PROMISE gets me in a Position to help many Young Students in Our Public Schools.   I have People That will DO THE $3000 Work for about $1600. I am so Lucky. This is a 2003 Mustang with only 81K Miles.

PLEASE,Take action and help Our Local Seniors.   Their is a Great Need.OTHERS WILL Help,  by each GIVEING A LITTLE HELP and try to send to A Large Number of People.. 

Even though I am PERMANENTLY & Totally Disabled from My Triple Bypass Open Heart  Surgeries, I still LOVE to Help and Serve many others by Giving Free Rides to Many Other Elderly, or Lonely People, Rides given Virtually every day to the Disabled, Critically ILL, & OTHERS THAT ARE FORGOTTEN by THEIR FAMILY and FRIENDS, or are Just Alone.

I ALSO Am A "BIG BROTHER" For a Young Man in The Ozarks Big Bro Big Sis Program.  Having my car back is Essential For me to Serve in this Position.  To be able to do my part for Transportation to pick him up at home and go Spend Time Talking and Driving with Him.  I am ALSO a Promise Leader for "Sandy Hook Promise' and Starting Again To Do "Safety Presentations" In OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS to try and Help Try to help Educate others and provide support to AVOID more "GUN VIOLENCE" Incidents in Our Schools and Elsewhere.
