Helllooooo friends & family :)
My Romanian/Hungarian best friend Lena and I have been brainstorming as to how we can help her Ukrainian friends that have had to flee their homes. Most of them have been staying in a community hall receiving one meal a day and one shower a week. They want to start a new chapter of their lives in Hungary but they need our help. They are already looking for ways to work but it is very challenging at this point in time given the extremely difficult circumstances they are in.
These are the present needs and how much money is needed:
*Housing for 12 families: two months deposit and one month of rent is €10,800 or $11,836
*School supplies for 23 children is €2,330 or $2,560
*Public transportation for 30 people for a month is €455 or $500
*Fuel for car transportation for a month is €100 or $110
*One week of food is €400 or $440
Which in total comes out to €14,085 or $15,540
Please consider being part of the healing for our Ukrainian friends as their lives have been torn apart by this violent war. Thank you so much!
