Umm al-Khair needs our support!

Umm al-Khair is a Palestinian village in the Israeli-controlled West Bank, whose residents are suffering from severe restrictions of movement, infrastructure and resource access. These restrictions limit their economic opportunities and make life extraordinarily difficult for the residents of Umm al-Khair. In the last few weeks more than ever, the community is living under a real threat of expulsion from their own land, and lack access to basic supplies for the community. 

We are raising money to help the community secure funds for food, medicine, and supplies to maintain their Guest House, which provides a source of income for the community members, and of the women and youth of the community in particular. 

This space will accommodate visitors interested in supporting and learning more about Umm al-Khair. The guest house will be used to hold educational workshops and host shared meals. The donations will promote employment opportunities and improve financial conditions, Your donations will provide necessary materials and a stipend for the members of the community who maintain the project. The community is facing hard times and need our support now more that ever.
