Long story short my $500 umpire gear was stolen. It was tucked away inside my garage, and someone stole it along with about roughly $10,000 worth of other tools and equipment. I don’t make a lot of money and most of the time, won’t take money to umpire sometimes just do it because I love it. It’s always been my passion and I plan on attending the MLB umpire camp for two weeks begging of next year and pursuing that career has always been in my heart. Anything I can get to go towards it will be a blessing. The fall season is just a few weeks away and I would be devastated if I couldn’t ump due to not having gear.
