We are a group of dedicated animal lovers.  Our vision is to help our Pueblo city/county animal shelter increase adoptions.  Currently 86% of animals are returned to owners, adopted, or transferred to partner shelters or rescues.  The remaining 14% do not get placed due to health or behavioral problems.  Our shelter currently has a nationally award winning veterinarian and an outstanding vet clinic.  We want our shelter to have an equally phenomenal training and behavior program.  They need the expert tools to help identify which animals can benefit from training so they go from being deemed un-adoptable to being ADOPTABLE.  We want the best outcome possible for each pet while being responsible to the public for not allowing dangerous or behaviorally handicapped animals back into our community. The money will be used to pay for the increased cost of caring for animals while they go through training, the tools needed for enrichment, the equipment and treats used in training (it can get expensive), and education for the staff.  You can make a difference to  animals by giving a small donation or even just sharing this.
