I thought December was rough, 2024 has already started off on the wrong foot.

My car's transmission went back in December and then just 3 days before the new year my daughter told me she was moving out.

I live paycheck to paycheck, have no extra funds, and am behind on rent and bills because my daughter bailed - she used to pay for half of everything, and because when my car broke down I missed shifts at work because I couldn't find rides. (I live a half hour from work and all stores which makes getting a ride difficult - especially with my work schedule.)

I need to get my car back on the road so I can keep my job and have a chance at keeping my home for me and my pets, 4 of which are fosters.

I have exhausted all avenues in seeking help to secure funds for this as I am on a consumer proposal and not able to get a line of credit at this time. I do not have family that can help me either which is why I am turning to strangers.
