On 9/1/2026 Kelly and his family awoke to the smell of smoke. When they got up to investigate, they were met with raging flames that had already engulfed a good precent of the house. Not able to grab anything physical, Kelly and his fiance, Reese grabbed their baby and fled outside to safety. By the grace of God the couple’s other 2 daughters were already away from the home the previous night.

The family now has nothing and is forced to start completely over. The Red Cross has already been contacted to try to find temporary housing for the family. We are asking that you find it in your heart to donate to help the family to get back on their feet. Funds raised will go directly to the family for clothing, diapers, food, household items and another place to stay as the home was rented so the owner will retain any monies from insurance to rebuild that location.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined officially by the Jackson Fire Department but has preliminarily been determined as electrical.
