HCA-Uniforms Campaign
Touching Heart Ministry is a 501c3 non profit organization located in a Orlando, FL. Since 2013 Touching Heart Ministry has provided the fundamental human right of free education to orphaned children in Haiti. Children of all faiths are welcomed with open arms into our warm, supportive, and rigorous educational environment where they can live, learn, worship, and play freely without worrying about the basic needs of food, shelter and clothing. Hope Christian Academy, located in Moleard, Bon Repos, Haiti currently had received 286 children for the school year 2015-2016 from kindergarten to junior high school, with enrollment increasing each year.
The community of Moleard, Bon Repos is about 30 minutes northeast of Port au Prince, and is plagued by sex trafficking, extreme poverty, violence, and lack of basic sanitation. Most adults are either unemployed or work for under $1.50 per day, making it nearly impossible to support their children and families. Touching Heart Ministry believes that knowledge is the vehicle in which children can escape these dire conditions.
Hope Christian Academy in Bon Repos, Haiti, now entering our 5th year, continues to experience success year after year. Our campus expects well over 300 children, who are attending classes that range from Kindergarten to Junior High: all children of whom come from the poorest areas in Haiti.
Most of these children are orphans and underprivileged, and without us, would have had no hope of attending school.
Again, this year, we are hosting our Annual Fundraiser to help students with uniforms, book bags and school supplies. Our goal is to help all students that need assistance. Consider helping by supplying the suggested items or by making a monetary gift donation. Collectively, all gifts make our success possible.
