Uniforms Need
My name is Dennis Mahon and I'm a member of the Mother Teresa Assembly 2562 4th Degree and a proud 10-year U.S. Navy veteran hoping to help our members get uniforms so that they can provide comfort to those who request their services.
The Knights of Columbus, a global Catholic men's organization providing charity for all in need and acting as honor guards and color corps or standing in respect at the funerals of members or during adoration of the Eucharist.
The Fourth-Degree members of the Knights of Columbus are the men who have chosen to embrace the Order's fourth principle of patriotism. These men lead the efforts to reach out to veterans and active military and to embody the fact that one can be a faithful Catholic and be a loyal citizen.
Uniforms are needed for members of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus for funeral services. These men most of them retired on fixed incomes are constantly asked to perform honor guard ceremonies for the deceased at the request of their family members. When the men show up not in a uniform doesn't look good for the folks that have requested. Therefore, we are trying to earn the funds to purchase these uniforms.
Most of these men are unable to pay the $ 449.00 for the uniforms therefore we are requesting aid from you to purchase 15 uniforms. The cost would be $ 449.00 plus sales tax and shipment fees therefore $ 500.00 per uniform.
Will you donate funds to help accomplish this goal so that we can provide comfort to these families at a time of grief?
