Racheal has been blessed to be a part of a program to help with obtaining and training a service animal. Percy is being trained to provide several services for Rae. Currently he is trained to alert others to oncoming seizures, bring rescue medicine and phones, assist others in finding her when she is unable to communicate, recognize low blood sugars, rest near her during a seizure, and supply stability support. There is still a lot of training to do before he can continue training for her specialized needs and pass a public access test. However, Percy's training has hit a snag and we are unable to train him further.

Due to forces beyond our control Percy needs a special canine behaviorist if he is to be a full access dog, or continue training to meet her needs. Some of our neighbors and their children have caused trauma to Percy during fundamental development stages in his life. This has included yelling, chasing with sticks, throwing rocks at him, verbally assaulting Racheal, and finding ways to startle him to cause him to bark. Because of this Percy is now very reactive and unable to ignore is environment.

This is a main skill he must master to be able to be a full service dog for Racheal. Since this is a behavioral intervention it is not included in the standard training program we are enrolled in for his training. So we need your help in raising the funds needed to hire a specialized licensed canine behaviorist.
