Deena Smith...68 year young mother of three, grandmother of 5, sister of 2, friend to all...is facing a tough battle with stage 4 liver cancer. The diagnosis came as a shock and the prognosis requires life-saving treatment to be started immediately. As her family researches options, the immediate needs of transportation, specialized nutrition and co-pays are already overwhelming the family resources, and this is before even starting treatment. She needs financial help to give her a fighting chance.
