My dear friend named Erica ... has an emergency situation!

 1) She has a very sick child with several problems. She was born with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of one year with a blood glucose of 992. But the hospital was able to control it, though over the years still having highs and lows.

2) THEN she finds out her husband was tested and found HIS glucose was 455 find he ALSO developed Type 1 ALSO!

 3) A few years later, Erica discovers her daughter is struck by Guillain Barrés Syndrome! She was paralyzed from the rib cage to her toes. She was told it would be at LEAST a year or two before she was on her feet, and that's IF she ever walked again. She had PT every day, so was walking 4 mths later. But, after she started walking, she began to lose her vision. The doctor said she has Stage 4 Proliferative Retinopathy. She's been getting shots in her eyes every 8 weeks for 2 and a half years now. The stage 4 is now stage 3, so it seems to be helping.  

However: last year, her legs began to give out again, and then one day, they gave out completely. It's severe neuropathy in her feet and legs. Erica was told by the Endocrinologist, being diagnosed so young has shaved 25-35 years off her life including possibly having her feet or fingers amputated. She may also completely lose her vision. Erica was devastated one again.

4) Add to this mother's nightmare... she discovered her husband began to have a series of strokes with double vision for months and his motor skills off. Some of them are mild, and in the past he could work off and on, until now. So he's looking to try to file for any help.

 5) FINALLY add to this STRESS of being told they must vacate their rental. At the last minute, when the landlord delayed renewing the yearly contract, holding off, and then giving them a notice to vacate because the landlord wanted to convert the property into a AirBnB. My friend Erica is just devastated. She really can't move her daughter, and there seems to be nothing in her area she can afford since all the rents are soaring now... (she's been in her home since 2017).

 So we are trying to get her a hand UP to be able to COPE with this massive stress over yet another URGENT matter in her life of pain while trying to find a place to live. She has animals she doesn't want to lose either since a couple are her daughters', so that adds to the stress of finding a place.

Bottom line. She MUST be out by March 1. This is an emergency! I am praying for anyone to help her. ***They need first and last months RENT to move- -moving expenses, Medical expenses just to move their daughters who cannot WALK now...with all her equipment.... and possible help for food and utilities to turn on.
