Vanessa Cree was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose life was turned upside down after seeking care for pneumonia, only to be unexpectedly diagnosed with metastatic Stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer had spread to her lungs, liver, bone marrow, spine, hips, skull, and brain. Her diagnosis came suddenly, leaving her family in shock and facing an emotional and financial battle they never imagined.

On June 25 at 8:45 a.m., Vanessa passed away peacefully. Though her courageous fight has come to an end, the challenges for her family continue.

Vanessa's husband, Richard, is the sole provider for their family and is now navigating life without his beloved wife while caring for their children, helping them through their grief, and working to provide stability during this incredibly difficult time.

The months of cancer treatment brought enormous financial burdens, including medical bills, specialists, scans, medications, travel, emergency care, and many expenses not fully covered by insurance. In addition to these costs, Richard now faces ongoing household expenses and the financial realities of raising their children on his own.

This fundraiser is being continued to now help provide support for Richard and their children as they adjust to life without Vanessa.
