Vet bill for rescue husky
Two months ago we rescued River from a gas station. After we introducing her to the rest of the pet family we took her into the vets office. Some of the vet office people recognized her from that gas station or the post that was made on Facebook. After a conversation about how happy they are to find out she went to a good home we moved on to the medical side of things. I had high hopes that we would be in okay condition. Boy was I wrong. After testing we were told she has sever heart worms. She has them so bad that we are having to do a step treatment on her, which tells us she was never treated for them. So her first month we were to give pills. Once that was complete we did a CBC and ultrasound of her heart. They came back good! We got her fixed in an emergency situation and she is now recovered from that. However her treatment is not complete. She needs a shot and then a month later she needs two more shots. We have spent over $1200.00 on her in hopes to save her and now that the life is coming back to her we have found we have run low on funds. She is so close to the end of this treatment and watching her and my other pup become like two peas in a pod I have am asking for help to finish saving her. She is such a sweet calm pup who deserves the chance to live a full life. At only two years of age she has been through so much and we just want to make sure she is part of our family for the rest of her life!
