Vet-Owned Rehab Project
Disabled Veteran Owned small business startup Rehabilitation project.
In the passed couple of years Miami County implemented a 10 year revitalization project to encompass the City of Peru focusing on the main corridor that stretches from the Wabash River all the way down Broadway street and up to State Road 24.
In conjunction with this Revitalization plan, two local Disabled Veterans are continuing their service to their country. Derick and Logan have stepped up to purchase a building in the heart of what has been chosen as the highest priority area to be turned around. These two local Veterans from the Army and Marines are partnering up together in conjunction with the local town government to rebuild one of Peru's oldest buildings on Broadway street. The goal of their business is to Purchase the building, turn the first floor into a Retail store, completely rehab the 3rd floor as well as roof, installing a Rooftop Terrace overlooking Peru and the Wabash river. Derick and Logans goal is to design this space in such a way that will allow a premium resturaunt to takeover the space, while simultaneously owner operate the retail store, and add to the growth of both Peru, and Miami county Indiana.
Please help us reach our goal. 100% of all proceeds raised will be invested directly into the rehabilitation of this building.
