Hello my name is Rayleigha. I usually go by Ray. I am married with 2 children. Ty who is 9 yrs old and Malaki who turns 1 on aug 30th. I am a combat veteran of the u s army. I was receiving a pension while living in Kentucky til they terminated it in. May 2019. Due to this my family and I became homeless. A friend in michigan offered her basement temporarily. So we sold almost everything we had loaded the 4 of us, and my ESA dog and cat in our 02 Durango and moved to Michigan on July 1st. I have been to the VA and other county assistance programs. Things were looking low for us. We then we're able to find a campground that let us stay in a camper free of charge as long as we worked on the campground... And here we are. I am working with the American legion to get my pension back. My husband had open heart surgery last year so working campground and another job is hard on him. My husband's bday is the 26th, my youngest sons bday is 30th. I have nothing to give them... Our durangos insurance ran out, registration is about due and it definitely needs some parts to make it safe.. Oldest son just started school yesterday with no school supplies. I feel like a bad mom not being able to get my kids something as simple as a bike or new shoes.. I'm not one to ask for help but it's been a struggle surviving while waiting for the VA to do their job. Any help is appreciated... Thanks in advance and God bless..
