How often do you look up at the roof over your head and feel appreciative for the shelter and protection afforded to you? Many people take this necessity for granted, but not everyone in your community is fortunate enough to have a place to live.

Our team of 15 students have booked a Group Build Day on April 6th in downtown Hamilton. Habitat for Humanity describes Group Build Days as:

"Group Day Build Programs are designed for community members looking to come together for a day of team building and home building at one of our construction sites. Your volunteer efforts, combined with the financial contribution you'll provide to participate, doubles your group's impact. By the end of your group's exclusive Build Day, your group will be connected with one another and the community, in a truly unique way. The satisfaction of a tangible volunteer experience will leave your group motivated, exhilarated and ready to take on the next challenge! Plus, you can rest assured knowing that 100% of your monetary contribution will be allocated towards Habitat Hamilton's Home Build Program."

A Build Day costs $2500 CAD. We have sourced $985 for funding, but still need $1515 more to go. Our Build Day is on April 6th. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated. :)
