My name is Samuel, and in the spring of 2027 I plan to walk across America, starting in Buffalo, New York and making my way all the way to California on foot. I’m starting this fundraiser for myself because this journey means something deeply personal to me. Right now, the world feels scary and unpredictable, and I feel pulled to step away from screens and constant technology so I can experience life with my own eyes. I want to see America the way it was meant to be experienced: through its beauty, its nature, and the people and places that can’t be understood through a television screen, status update, tweet, or TikTok. Your support would help me with the essentials I’ll need along the way, including food, shelter, camera supplies to document the journey, and other necessities like medicine and travel gear.
