I make quilts and give them to a child that needs that warm quilt to help them forget about the life and problems they have to deal with , these children are in foster homes or in the court system , not because they want to because their parents have caused them pain or just dosen't want them anymore or they have been taken away, what ever the problem be , I want them to have something warm and cozy that they can have and they know it was made with love , I have been doing this for 5 years now and I have used all my supplies up and have been purchasing everything my self and I can't afford it , I have spent my savings and need to finish this so every child in the system will have a warm quilt that is all for them , the cost of supplies have gone up to $16.00 a yard of soft material and the kids print is up to $14.00 a yard then the thread and yarn and I make them double stitch and double think so they will be able to be washed over and over again , my Granddaughter who is 8 years old Kaylaa she the one that helps me , and we did 59 at Christmas so I have about 2000 left to go , but I need help to get supplies I am on a budget and it has been hard to not be able to finish my quilts , I need so many , it takes me 1 day to make 3 baby quilts and 1 1/2 days to make a teens and 1 day for toddler and for bigger kids 2 to 2 1/2 days , and I make them very special for these children know they are loved , so if you can help me in give to a great child to keep them warm, please find it in your heart , I will be forever greatful and I will put a not in with each quilt telling how much love was put into each quilt, and your name if you don't mind , these children have been so happy to get a quilt and they take good care of them , so please help.
