Warren, Gone Too Soon
We lost our beloved Warren Allen Premer tragically in the afternoon of December 1st, 2023. He had just turned 14, in October.
The shock of losing our beautiful boy has left a hole in the hearts of our entire family and everyone that he ever met. To know Warren was to love Warren The world is now deprived of his effortless humor, contagious giggle, and his unwavering loyalty to name just a few. Warren was an incredible baker and possessed cooking skills that were practically shocking for someone so young. His tender, infectious smile warmed our hearts, and is indelible in our memory. He was loved and loved us so tenderly. His consummate affection was freely given to the ones he cherished.
Warren possessed so much talent and intelligence, he could do just about anything. Warren always stood up for what was right and wasn't afraid to be himself. What made him so incredibly special was the immeasurable amount of care that was so essential to his being and his unwavering devotion to others that he sensed were struggling in ways he understood. Kindhearted and caring, he always sought to help assuage others' pain.
We are still waiting on additional information and trying to put pieces together in hopes of it providing some small amount of help in our healing. However, currently we are left with more questions than answers, and the crushing pain of uncertainty.
Warren is survived by his mother Muri, his stepfather Trey, his sister Elizabeth and his two step-brothers Benson & Cole. Warren also leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. He has been such a cherished part of the lives of his adoring family, his loss is so unfathomably tragic and sudden that none of us will ever be the same. Life as our family has known it has tragically been torn asunder, and it will never be the same. We will forever mourn his loss.
We seek help from anyone that is able to do so to assist us with: end of life services, family travel expenses, the long road of therapy that will be needed for all of us, moving costs, likely lost wages, and shortfalls in insurance payouts.
UPDATE: Today, on Monday December 4th we received the news we were hoping to be spared from. After completion of the autopsy by the medical examiner, Warrens' death was ruled a suicide. This news has delivered visceral anguish to us all. Exceptions exist in Warrens' life insurance removing his eligibility The support we've been receiving has been a very bright spot during these awful days.
Thank you for everything, it means the world to us. We will never be able to fully articulate our humble appreciation.
If you are able to help aid us with these costs, each one will mean a great deal to our family while we grieve the unimaginable loss of our sweet boy.
