WASHINGTON D.C.

My daughter, Merci Luau, was invited to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. for a week during the summer. An awesome opportunity for someone who deserves it. She was nominated by her teacher, who recognizes all her attributes as a leader, her academic excellence, and maturity. She always sets a great example not only to her peers, but definitely a great role model to her sisters. We're very proud of you MERCI!

Merci is 11 years old and has three younger sisters. She's in the 6th grade and attends Nolan Middle School. She's an A honor roll student and has a 4.0 GPA. She plays volleyball and basketball for Killeen Parks and Recreation. Merci and her siblings will be participating in AAU Basketball over the summer.
Before receiving the invitation, we made a commitment to sign up all the girls for AAU. Unfortunately, we are financially disabled and unable to provide the funds for both opportunities. I understand that attending the JRNYL Conference, will benefit her and her future, but to afford her this experience will take away AAU from all my children because they are equally expensive.
PLEASE SHARE!!
To be able to provide for this once-in-a-lifetime experience will be the first steps to success for her future. Also, enabling her and her sisters to continue to participate in AAU Basketball. I'm not asking for a full ride, just some help will greatly lighten the load. The donations will cover the cost of the tuition and any amount small or large is greatly appreciated!!
