Help welcome migrant families to New York! I'm raising money to pay for food, blankets, warm clothes, suitcases, toys and other supplies for asylum seeking families currently being housed in tents at Floyd Bennett Field. The city has located them in a desolate former military air field in outer Brooklyn close to the water and unprotected from cold and wind. Any money you can spare will go to ordering bulk supplies and quality second hand goods that I can deliver directly to them. My mom is the little girl pictured above, shortly before she herself arrived in New York City as an asylum seeking refugee, and my hope is for all families to find the same safe harbor she eventually did.
